Two outdoor scenic communal baths

Onyado Toho is built on a hill 300 meters above sea level. Our two outdoor scenic communal baths are located in the perfect spot on the third floor of the Tower building on the west side, with a full view of the mountains of Aizu stretching from the Aizu Basin to Echigo far off into the distance. There is no outdoor bath in all of Aizuwakamatsu that offers a more magnificent view of the beautiful sunset.
From these scenic communal baths, where you will almost feel as if you are floating in the sky as you take in the view, enjoy a relaxing interlude as you gaze down at the city of Aizuwakamatsu during the day and up into the starry skies at night.

In addition to the multiple bath tubs that overlap in a tiered arrangement, we have also provided a relaxation space where you can soothe both body and spirit.
As well as the indoor bath and the two-tiered outdoor bath with differing depths, another attractive feature of Sora-no-yu is the circular outdoor bath that seems to float in the sky.
From this bath, which is surrounded by a bamboo grove and protrudes 11 meters out from the ground, you can listen to the sound of the wind and birds during the day. In the evening, surrounding bamboo grove is lit up, and the magical atmosphere it creates will make you feel as if you in the middle of the Japanese fairy tale, The Tale of the Bamboo-Cutter.
